43rd Annual Meeting
13-15 November, 2014
Lord Elgin Hotel
Ottawa, ON

Registration Form & Invoice
Due Date: September 7th, 2014

Please mark your calendar for the annual CCUBC meeting, November 13 – 15 to be held at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa on 100 Elgin Street. This is a particularly important time for academia in Canada, in view of the upcoming Federal election in 2015. We plan to take advantage of our Ottawa location to shed some light on advocacy: how can / should we as Chairs be effective communicators to those Parliamentarians who are in a position to make a difference? Sessions are being planned with individuals experienced inpolitical advocacy, such as from the Canadian Consortium of Research (of which CCUBC is a member) and others. We will also plan to get high-ranking representatives from NSERC and CIHR to visit the meeting.

I look forward to the meeting you, and to hearing from you with questions, suggestions, and insights! I can be contacted at rrose@uwaterloo.ca . Complete message.
